    FUTO Final Year Student Drowns In Imo State (Graphic Photos Every death is sad to report but some are sadder than others and this is one of such. A final year student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, (FUTO) in Imo State, has died by drowning. Kester Gabriel, a 500 level Material and Metallurgical Engineering student, went swimming in the Otammiri river in Ihiagwa area of the state but drowned. Kester had been on Industrial Training, IT, and only just returned to school on Sunday. He drowned three days later, on Wednesday, His body has been recovered and deposited in the mortuary. Friends have taken to Facebook to mourn him.

        A housewife simply identified as Hauwa allegedly killed two of her children in Kano State because her husband married a second wife. The deceased kids have been identified as Yusuf, 5 and 3-year-old Zahra’u.. It was gathered that the incident occurred on Saturday morning, October 3 in Diso village, Gwale Local Government area of the state, when the husband went to his second wife's place to spend some time.    A 14-year old girl has been allegedly poisoned by her stepmother in Abia state after she won a UK scholarship to study Law. The deceased identified as Chidera from Amakpoke Umuaku Isuochi of Umunneochi LGA of Abia State sat for the WAEC exams last year where she came out with exceptional results. She got 9A’s in the West African Examinations Council exams which resulted to her winning a full scholarship to study in the UK. Online sources confirmed that her stepmother allegedly poisoned her after news of the scholarship broke out due to jealousy.  See photos of the deceased below

    A Nigerian lady identified as Rita Egwu has taken to social media to share new photos of the grown-up children of Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie with his ex-wife. In the lengthy post shared on Facebook, Rita Egwu suggested that Prince Okojie may not be taking care of the children, he had with his ex-wife. Egwu wrote; “This was in 2011 but seriously what really is this? Like no divorce, you just remarry and start building a new family? Mubarak and Hafsat have been married for eight years after courting for six years. They have three children between them.Trouble however started when Mubarak decided to take a second wife.    A 40-feet tanker fell off a trailer and landed on top of several cars at Barracks bustop inward Trade Fair in Lagos state today March.   According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, the 40 Feet container fell on three stationary vehicles and one tricycle with registration numbers, Toyota Yaris, black colour LSR 247 GP, grey colour Honda CRV LND 80 BS, ash SUZUKI Mini Bus KSF 904 XY and TVS green Tricycle AGL 831 QL   The agency said further investigation gathered at the scene of the incident revealed that the accident was caused due to reckless driving of the driver, hence the container lost balance and fell on the vehicles obstructing 80percent of the road.   No loss of life nor injuries were recorded at the scene of the incident.
